Getting there
Bayside sits at 401 Biscayne Boulevard, two blocks south of Museum Park (PAMM, Frost Science). The closest accessible Metromover stop is Bayfront Park; Miami-Dade Metromover stations are accessible per the transit authority's policy.
If you are driving, head for the on-site garage, with two van-accessible disability parking spaces on the south service road in front of the property. Rideshare drop-off is at the Biscayne Boulevard main entrance. The Metrobus 120 (Beach Max), 7, 9 and other downtown routes all stop within a block.
Inside the marketplace
Pick up a complimentary wheelchair at guest services on the main level if you did not bring your own. The bayfront promenade is paved and step-free, with bench seating distributed along the marina edge. Escalators and elevators connect to the upper level for the second-floor restaurants and shops.
The marina is where the Bayside Boat Tours, the Miami Water Taxi and several smaller bay-tour operators dock. Each operator runs its own boat with its own accessibility policy; the larger tour boats typically board via a portable ramp from the dock. Check with the specific operator before booking.
Tips for visiting
Bayside is one of the easiest downtown Miami stops to pair with PAMM and Frost Science to its north, or with the Bayfront Park promenade and the American Airlines Arena (Kaseya Center) to its south. The site is busiest in the early evening; cooler temperatures and a quieter promenade come in the late morning.
Restrooms and the largest concentration of shops are on the main level. For a quieter view of the marina and the cruise-ship terminal across the bay, the upper-level terraces are the spot. The marketplace stays open well into the evening every night of the week, so it doubles as a late-dinner option after a museum day.
