SeaWorld Orlando is step-free across its lagoons and animal habitats. Wheelchair and ECV rental is available inside the park to the right of Guest Services. The Ride Accessibility Program (RAP) enrols at Guest Services just inside the entrance, matches each guest's abilities to ride safety requirements, and places eligible guests in a virtual queue.
Accessibility at a glance
| What | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Step-free entrance | The main entrance plaza is paved and step-free, with an accessible security lane held for wheelchair and ECV users. Accessible parking spaces are in the lot near the park entrance with many spaces accessible to vans. A valid disabled placard is required. | Confirmed accessible |
| Vertical access | Most of SeaWorld Orlando is single-level around the central lagoon. The Sky Tower and Mako roller coaster require a transfer to a moving ride vehicle; the Ambassador at the load zone directs you to the accessible boarding route. The animal-habitat viewing areas (orcas, dolphins, sea lions) have step-free underwater viewing on the lower level. | Partially confirmed |
| Accessible toilets | Every restroom block has wheelchair-accessible stalls. Companion (family) restrooms are signposted at Guest Services, in Sesame Street Land, near the Wild Arctic and at the Orca Encounter stadium entrance. | Partially confirmed |
| Companion entry | SeaWorld does not discount admission for disabled visitors. RAP is the access program: enrol at Guest Services and a maximum of 5 additional guests may accompany the guest needing special access. Additional guests must use the ride entrance, not the standby queue, to ride together with the RAP holder. | Confirmed accessible |
Getting there
Park your car in the SeaWorld lot; accessible parking is in the front rows nearest the entrance. The lot tram is step-up only and not wheelchair-accessible; ECV and wheelchair users roll directly to the gate. The drive from International Drive is short; the LYNX 8 and 50 bus routes both stop near the park.
International Drive resorts run shuttle services to SeaWorld; check the hotel for ramp-equipped coaches before booking. Mears Connect provides wheelchair-lift transfers from Orlando International Airport. Rideshare drop-off is at the central guest plaza near the main entrance.
Inside the park
Enrol in the Ride Accessibility Program at Guest Services just inside the park entrance. The program matches each guest's abilities to the safety requirements of each ride and places eligible guests in a virtual queue. RAP is available only for the listed rides; it excludes shows, special events, parades, meet and greet priority access, gift shop check-out and restaurant lines.
Wheelchair and ECV rentals are sold inside the park to the right of Guest Services, based on availability. Quantities are limited on busy days. The Orca Encounter and Dolphin Adventure stadiums each have a designated wheelchair-viewing area; arrive ten minutes before showtime to be guided to the row.
Sesame Street Land at SeaWorld Orlando is a designated Certified Autism Center. Sensory guides are available on request at Guest Services. Service animals are welcome at SeaWorld Orlando and are limited to dogs and miniature horses individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.
Tips for visiting
Mako, Manta, Kraken and Ice Breaker are the major coasters; all require transfer to the ride vehicle. The walk-through animal habitats (Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, Wild Arctic, the Manta aquarium) are step-free and air-conditioned, making them good midday breaks from the Florida sun.
Up to 5 additional guests may accompany the guest enrolled in special access. Plan your party size to fit within that allowance and have the additional guests enter through the ride entrance to ride together with the RAP holder.
