Getting there

ICON Park is on International Drive between Universal Boulevard and Sand Lake Road, walkable from many I-Drive resorts. The LYNX 8 and 38 bus routes both stop near the entrance and are wheelchair-accessible. The I-RIDE Trolley also runs along International Drive with deployable ramps at most stops.

Parking is in the on-site garage on the south side of the complex; accessible parking is on the first level near the elevator bank, with a valid disabled placard. Drop-off for rideshare and accessible taxis is at the main entrance plaza on the I-Drive side.

The Wheel

The Wheel is an enclosed, air-conditioned observation ride. Each capsule travels around a central axis on a fixed floor level. The load platform is at capsule-floor level so wheelchair users roll directly into the capsule without a transfer. The Wheel admits wheelchairs less than 36 inches in width; ECVs above that width may need to transfer to a standard wheelchair at the load area.

Inside the capsule, seating runs around the perimeter and the floor is usable for wheelchair-seated viewing. Service animals (dogs and miniature horses meeting the ADA service-animal definition) are welcome on The Wheel.

Other attractions in the district

Madame Tussauds Orlando occupies the I-Drive 360 building's lower level. The route is step-free with lifts between exhibit zones; some narrow walk-around exhibits may be tight for wider ECVs. SEA LIFE Aquarium next door is largely step-free with ramps between viewing levels.

The Orlando Slingshot, Orlando Gyro Drop Tower and StarFlyer are open-air thrill rides with seat-restraint mechanics; transfer from a wheelchair to the ride seat is required and the queue line involves stairs. Ride access for individual mobility needs is decided at the attraction's load area.

Tips for visiting

Service animals should remain on a physical leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner at all times. Under the ADA service-animal rules at ICON Park, dogs and miniature horses are the qualifying species. Plan ahead with venue Guest Services if your access needs are unusual; ICON Park does not publish detailed venue-by-venue accommodation policies on its public pages.

The food hall and the lakeside restaurants are step-free with accessible seating. The open-air central plaza is the heart of the district; it is paved, level, and free to enter without a ticket.
