Accessibility at a glance

Accessibility details
WhatDetailsStatus
Step-free entrance
The casino floor on the ground level holds the SkyPod ticket desk, the security screening for the elevator queue, and the elevator boarding area. The route from the parking garage and from the rideshare drop-off to the ticket desk is at one level. Casino-floor escalators are paralleled by step-free routes throughout.
Partially confirmed
Vertical access
The tower elevators are among the fastest in the world, travelling at 1,800 feet per minute, and they serve the 108th-floor indoor observation deck. The outdoor 109th-floor deck above is reached only by stairs from the indoor deck. Wheelchair users have access to the full 360-degree view from the 108th floor; the outdoor 109th is not wheelchair-accessible.
Confirmed accessible
Accessible toilets
Accessible restrooms are on the casino floor at the elevator boarding level. On the 108th-floor indoor deck, restroom layout is not published in detail; plan a toilet stop before going up, the elevator queue and the wait for a return cabin can extend the visit to over an hour.
Partially confirmed
Companion entry
The SkyPod does not publish a companion-free admission policy. Standard adult tickets apply, with a daytime and a night-time rate. The accessibility benefit on offer is the elevator-served 108th-floor indoor deck, not a discount on a second ticket.

Getting there

The STRAT is at 2000 South Las Vegas Boulevard, within Las Vegas city limits just north of the Strip proper. It is the northernmost major Strip-area attraction. The Deuce and the SDX both stop at the front of the property; both are low-floor and lift-equipped.

The Monorail does not extend this far north, the closest Monorail station is Sahara (the line's northern terminus), then a short accessible-vehicle ride or a 10-minute Strip-side roll along Las Vegas Boulevard. Accessible-vehicle rideshare drops at the main casino entrance.

At the elevator queue

The SkyPod ticket desk and security screening are on the casino floor near the elevator bank. Tickets are sold for daytime, night-time, and thrill-ride add-ons. The standard SkyPod ticket covers the indoor 108th-floor deck only; thrill-ride tickets are separate.

The queue for the elevator is on one level and accommodates wheelchairs without difficulty. Security screening is light, and staff hold the elevator briefly for wheelchair users to board level with the cabin floor. The elevator ride to the 108th floor takes under a minute at 1,800 feet per minute.

On the 108th-floor indoor deck

The indoor observation deck on the 108th floor is wheelchair-accessible end to end. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap the full 360 degrees; the floor is level with no internal steps or thresholds.

Photo benches and viewfinder telescopes are mounted at heights that are reachable from a seated position. The 109th-floor outdoor deck above is reached by stairs only and is not wheelchair-accessible. The view from the 108th is the full Strip horizon, downtown to the north-east, and the mountain ranges to the west; the outdoor 109th adds wind exposure but no significantly different sightlines.

Tips for visiting

Skip the thrill rides if you are visiting in a wheelchair, the four (Big Shot, X-Scream, Insanity, SkyJump) are not accessible by ride design. The standalone SkyPod ticket gives the full view experience without paying for ride access you cannot use.

Time the visit for sunset, the tower sits well clear of the central Strip glow and the early-evening view from 1,149 feet captures both the lit Strip below and the desert horizon. Book online to skip the ticket desk queue, then go straight to the security screening line.
