Accessibility at a glance
| What | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Step-free entrance | Guests using an accessible entrance enter the property via Sands Avenue and use the East Entry or the West Entry of Sphere itself. Both entries are step-free into the venue, with staff directing wheelchair users along the level path from the curb to the security screening lanes. | Confirmed accessible |
| Vertical access | Sphere is a multi-level venue. Guest Services on Levels 2 and 6 are the official mobility-device storage points, which confirms elevator access at minimum to both of those levels. Companion seating and accessible seating are sold across multiple levels; pick a level on booking and the venue routes you to the right elevator from the entry. | Partially confirmed |
| Accessible toilets | All restrooms at Sphere are accessible. Family and all-gender restrooms are located throughout the venue, which gives a closer option than the standard sex-segregated facilities on the largest concourse levels. | Confirmed accessible |
| Companion entry | Sphere does not publish a companion-free admission policy on its accessibility page. The standard adult ticket applies to the disabled visitor and the companion; the no-cost benefit on the accessibility page is the free wheelchair transport from the entry to your seat, not a discount on a second ticket. Check current rates on the venue's booking page. | Unconfirmed |
Getting there
Sphere sits on the east side of the Strip behind The Venetian, with its main pedestrian approach from Sands Avenue. The closest Monorail station is Harrah's and The Linq; the closest Strip bus stop is on Las Vegas Boulevard at Sands Avenue, served by the Deuce and the SDX.
Accessible-vehicle rideshare can drop on Sands Avenue at the East Entry, which is the recommended drop-off for wheelchair users. Avoid the Strip-side approach if you can, the level path runs from Sands Avenue rather than from the noisy Strip frontage.
At the entrance
The East and West Entries are the accessible entrances. Both are step-free into the security screening hall, with separated lanes and staff trained to assist wheelchair users at the bag check and metal detector. Guest Services is the first stop inside.
Mobility devices can be checked at Guest Services on Levels 2 and 6 if you prefer to leave a powered wheelchair or scooter during the show. The free wheelchair transport service starts here: request it at Guest Services and a member of staff takes you directly to your seat using a venue wheelchair.
On the inside
The venue offers seating for 17,600 people with total capacity of 20,000. Accessible seating is spread across multiple levels rather than concentrated at the back, and companion seats are paired with accessible spots so the wheelchair user and their party sit together. The seat-finder on the booking page filters for accessible options.
Sphere offers seating with movable armrests and chairs without armrests as standard accommodation options. Ask for one on booking if a fixed armrest restricts your transfer. The dome screen is visible across the full 270-degree seating fan, so an accessible spot does not compromise the view.
Tips for visiting
Buy timed tickets in advance and select an accessible seat at booking, do not arrive without one and hope to swap. The free wheelchair transport service should be requested at Guest Services on arrival, not booked in advance.
Service dogs are welcome. All restrooms are accessible and family or all-gender options are throughout the venue, which is useful in a 20,000-capacity space where the nearest sex-segregated facility may be a long roll away. Plan for an arrival buffer of about 30 minutes before showtime to clear security at a comfortable pace.
