Las Vegas taxi companies keep lift-equipped vans that take one wheelchair. You cannot hail on the street. Call Taxi Management on 702-551-5151 or Lucky Cab on 702-477-7555, or ask the hotel doorman to request an accessible van.
Metered taxi trips use the Nevada Taxicab Authority tariff. Airport trips to the Strip use a posted flat-rate zone. Bell Limousine's ADA van is a private-hire quote starting from $105.
How to book
You cannot hail a taxi on the Las Vegas street. Taxis pick up at a physical address such as a hotel taxi line, usually near the valet or main entrance. Call from your room, use the dedicated taxi phone, or ask the doorman for an accessible taxi van.
For a same-day metered van, call Taxi Management on 702-551-5151 or Lucky Cab dispatch on (702) 477-7555. Taxi Management also takes ride requests in the Curb app and at https://www.kabit.vegas/booknow/. Lucky Cab takes an online reservation form and calls you one hour before pickup.
For a chauffeur van with a published wheelchair lift, email [email protected] or call Bell Limousine on (800) 274-7433 or (702) 385-5466. That service is a private-hire quote, not the taxi meter.
Taxi Management
Taxi Management advertises Special Service Vehicles for a passenger in a wheelchair or a mobility scooter, anywhere in the city. This is a licensed taxi, not a self-drive rental.
Book on 702-551-5151, at https://www.kabit.vegas/booknow/, or request a ride in the Curb app. No public booking email is printed on ycstrans.com. The fare is the Nevada Taxicab Authority regulated tariff, including the airport flat-rate zones when the trip starts at Harry Reid.
Lucky Cab
Lucky Cab's reservation form offers a Special Services Van that seats up to 5 persons including a wheelchair passenger. There is no excess luggage space in that van. Ask for the Special Services Van when you call, not a standard car.
Dispatch is (702) 477-7555. The main office on (702) 732-4400 is for businesses that want a direct line, not the visitor dispatch number. Book on http://www.luckycablv.com/Online_Reservations.php and wait for the one-hour confirmation call. No public booking email is printed. Price is the Taxicab Authority tariff.
Bell Limousine ADA Service Van
Bell Limousine publishes an ADA Service Van with an ADA-compliant wheelchair lift, a secure wheelchair restraint system, and low-entry boarding. The van holds up to 11 passengers and up to 5 suitcases. It is aimed at airport transfers, hotels, and private group travel.
The published base fare starts from $105. That figure excludes airport fees, excise tax, gratuity, and the monthly Nevada Transportation Authority fuel surcharge. Book on (800) 274-7433, (702) 385-5466, or [email protected]. The vehicle page is https://belllimousine.com/fleet-rate/ada-service-van/.
Airport transfer
Harry Reid taxis are regulated by the Nevada Taxicab Authority, which issues medallions and sets fares. All listed taxi companies accept credit cards. Trips from the airport to the Strip use a flat rate by zone. Ask the stand attendant for the posted zone map rather than guessing a dollar amount.
At Terminal 1, taxis wait on the east side of baggage claim outside exit doors 1 to 4. At Terminal 3, taxis wait outside baggage claim near door 52. Airport personnel help queue the lines. Tell the attendant you need a lift-equipped van. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority says every taxi company keeps those vans.
If you leave property in a cab and do not know the company, the Taxicab Authority number printed by the airport is 702-668-4000. You can also pre-book Taxi Management, Lucky Cab, or Bell Limousine to the terminal so the van is waiting.
Residents only
RTC Paratransit is the door-to-door, by-appointment bus service. Visitors who already hold paratransit certification at home may ride for up to 21 days without a Nevada card. Book on 702-228-4800 one to three days ahead. It is not a same-day tourist taxi. For hotel and airport trips, use the lift-equipped taxi vans or Bell Limousine.
