Getting there

360 CHICAGO is on the 94th floor of 875 North Michigan Avenue, the tower formerly known as the John Hancock Center. The building sits on the Magnificent Mile between Delaware Place and Chestnut Street.

Chicago on the Red Line is the closest L station, about a 10-minute roll south on the level Michigan Avenue sidewalk. The closest CTA bus stops are at Michigan Avenue and Delaware Place or Michigan Avenue and Chestnut Street, both a 2-minute walk from the door. Routes 146, 151, 147, 148, and 143 all serve those stops.

By car, advance booking via SpotHero is the easiest way to find parking on the Mag Mile. Paratransit and WAV taxis can drop off on Delaware Place directly outside the ADA entrance.

At the entrance

Look for the ADA entrance on Delaware Place, the side street on the north side of the building. The Michigan Avenue lobby is the main entrance for non-wheelchair guests but has stairs from the sidewalk. Once inside the Delaware entrance, the elevator goes to the concourse level where the 360 CHICAGO ticketing desk is.

Sensory bags can be requested at the ticketing desk. The bags include noise-canceling headphones, sunglasses, fidget tools, verbal cue cards, and weighted lap pads.

On the observation deck

Ramps around the deck make the full 360-degree perimeter walk easy for wheelchair users. Floor-to-ceiling windows on every side give an unobstructed view; the deck is well-lit and climate-controlled.

TILT, the moving glass-floor platform that tilts visitors out over the avenue, requires standing and gripping a bar. Wheelchair users are welcome to enter the TILT area but must stand to ride the platform. If you cannot stand, you can still see TILT in action from the deck without riding.

Sensory and access programs

Sensory bags are at the main ticketing desk and at the TILT desk on the 94th floor. The deck has quieter seating zones tucked between viewing walls; staff can direct you to the calmer side if the crowds are heavy.

Service dogs are welcome with proper identification. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted.

Tips for visiting

Buy tickets online to save money: online General Admission starts at 30 dollars vs gate price of 35 dollars. Booking online also lets you choose a timed entry, which keeps the elevator queue short.

The deck is open until 11 pm, which is later than most Chicago observation decks. Evening visits give a city skyline at night with shorter daytime queues. Last entry is one hour before close.
