Most of the Harry Potter Studio Tour is level. You get one free companion ticket. From London, take a step-free train to Watford Junction plus the official shuttle. The shuttle takes one wheelchair. Tell the driver if you need the ramp.
The studios are not in central London. They sit at Leavesden, north-west of the city: about 20 minutes from Euston, then a 15-minute shuttle. Treat this as its own half-day trip, not a stop between the Eye and the Tower.
In a chair you miss the Knight Bus platform, the Hogwarts Bridge, and the Hogwarts Express corridor. A viewing carriage at Platform 9 3/4 still shows the train. Diagon Alley, the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest, and Privet Drive are harder to roll.

Before you book
Buy a timed ticket online for the person who needs the accessible visit. If that visitor is 4 or under they already go free, so the tour will not add a companion ticket.
After you book, ask Visitor Services to add one free companion, or collect that ticket at the Ticket Window on the day with proof. If you are booking an event, a Deluxe Tour, or a dining package, add the companion before you travel.
Bring proof of entitlement. In the UK that is a PIP or DLA letter, ESA, Attendance Allowance, a Freedom Pass with a D logo, a Blue Badge, a DID or Access Card, or a doctor's letter. From abroad, bring your home-country disability ID or a doctor's letter.
If you board the official shuttle before you have collected the companion ticket, tell the driver. Visitor Services (Leah H, case WB-3096747, 29 August 2026) confirmed they will still let your companion on.
Email Visitor Services before you travel if three or more people in your group use wheelchairs. Cinema seating at the start of the tour is limited.
How to get there from central London
Train plus official shuttle: London Euston to Watford Junction (step-free category A). The electric shuttle is included with your ticket or booking confirmation, takes about 15 minutes, and runs at least every 30 minutes from 9.20am (from 8.15am when the first tour is at 9am).
It takes one wheelchair. Show your ticket at the stop and tell the driver you need the ramp.
Accessible taxis drop at Studio Tour Drive, Leavesden, WD25 7LR. Free Blue Badge bays sit by the entrance.
When you arrive
Collect your companion ticket and any loan chair in the level lobby before timed entry starts.
Free manual wheelchairs are first come at the Information Desk and cannot be reserved. Bring your own if you can. Electric wheelchairs are welcome.
What you can roll through
You roll through most sets on the level, including green-screen photos (the broomstick if you can transfer) and sensory rooms by the Food Hall and Backlot Café.
You cannot board the Knight Bus platform, cross the Hogwarts Bridge, or enter the Hogwarts Express corridor. Use the viewing carriage at the end of Platform 9 3/4.
Diagon Alley has cobbles and an incline. The Great Hall has a slate floor. The Forbidden Forest has a spongy surface. Privet Drive has a narrow doorway. Ask staff for another line if a pinch point is busy.
Toilets and rest stops
Accessible toilets throughout are stoma friendly and have a shelf. Changing Places is in the lobby: bring a RADAR key or ask at the Information Desk, and bring your own hoist sling.
Sensory bags and Sunflower lanyards are first come at the Information Desk.
Tips for your visit
Leave extra time for a second wheelchair. The next bus may be 30 minutes later.
If smoke or strobes bother your assistance dog, skip the Forbidden Forest and ask staff for another route. Water bowls are available.
Plan toilet stops and a snack before you go in. You cannot return to the car park mid-tour.
