Munich street taxis are usually sedans. To stay in your chair, pre-book an Inklusionstaxi. Call IsarFunk on 089 450 540 or Taxi München e.G. on (089) 2161-0, and say Inklusionstaxi.

SBS Fahrdienst is a private ramp or lift van on +49 174 / 192 71 06. The city says the Inklusionstaxi fleet is still being built, so book at least an hour ahead.

How to book

Phone a named dispatcher and ask for an Inklusionstaxi, not a standard cab. IsarFunk takes Inklusionstaxi orders on weekdays from 08:00 to 20:00, at least 1 Stunde vor Termin, on 089 / 450 540. Email pre-booking is [email protected]. The imprint also lists [email protected].

Taxi München e.G. takes the same request on its general line (089) 2161-0 (the city writes 089 21610). Say Inklusionstaxi on the call. Pre-book by email to [email protected], or by fax 089 747 02 60.

Licensed Inklusionstaxis use the Münchner Taxitarif. From 01.07.2026 IsarFunk publishes Mindestfahrpreis 5,90, then 2,70 per km up to 7 km and 2,50 after that. Waiting time is 39,00 per hour. A Taxibus surcharge of 10,00 applies from the 5th to the 8th passenger. All those figures are in Euro. IsarFunk Festpreis is not available for Inklusionsfahrten mit Spezialfahrzeugen. Ask for the meter, not a guessed range.

SBS is a private Fahrdienst, not a radio taxi. Call or WhatsApp +49 174 / 192 71 06, or email [email protected], and ask for a quote. They do not bill Krankenkassen or accept Transportscheine.

IsarFunk Taxizentrale

IsarFunk has dispatched Inklusionstaxis for Sitzendbeförderung (you stay seated in the wheelchair) since 2020. IsarFunk says the fleet is still too small for unlimited same-hour pickup. Orders stop when the vehicles are fully booked (Vollauslastung).

Call 089 / 450 540. Website: https://isarfunk.de/inklusionstaxi/. Pre-book at least one hour ahead and allow up to 45 minutes Karenz. A folding wheelchair or rollator can go in a regular IsarFunk taxi. Ask for Inklusionstaxi if you need to stay in the chair.

Taxi München e.G.

Taxi-München eG lists Inklusionstaxi on its homepage next to other specials. The city names this cooperative as the second Inklusionstaxi dispatcher. Call (089) 2161-0, website https://www.taxi-muenchen.de/, and say Inklusionstaxi.

Email [email protected] for a pre-booked run. The same firm also publishes Krankenfahrten billed to German health insurers. That product is not the visitor booking path. Use the Inklusionstaxi request and pay the taxi tariff.

SBS Fahrdienst München

SBS Fahrdienst München GmbH runs high-roof taxis and wheelchair-adapted vans with a ramp or Hublift. You stay in the chair. Call or WhatsApp +49 174 / 192 71 06, or email [email protected]. Website: https://www.sbsfahrdienst.de/.

Price is their own Festpreis quote, not the city taxi meter. They publish barrier-free transfers to Flughafen München (MUC) and 24/7 airport availability. One van can take up to two wheelchair users and six other people, or eight people in total. Give chair size when you book if you use a large power chair.

Airport transfer

Munich Airport publishes taxi ranks at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 arrivals and departures, plus a Taxi-Service-Point in Terminal 2, Ebene 03 Nord. That page does not list an Inklusionstaxi category. Do not assume a walk-up van at the rank.

Pre-book IsarFunk or Taxi München e.G. and say Inklusionstaxi, or book SBS for a ramp or lift van to MUC. Airport PRM help inside the terminal is a separate airline booking. It does not send a van to your hotel.

Residents only

Krankenfahrten billed to a German Krankenkasse, and Taxi München e.G. insurance-billed patient trips, are resident or insurance products. SBS does not bill health insurers or accept Transportscheine. Visitors are not eligible. Book IsarFunk, Taxi München e.G., or SBS as a private trip.
