How to claim
Present the French disability card (Carte Mobilité Inclusion, «invalidité» mention) at the ticket desk on arrival. The city-run museums (Matisse, Masséna, Archéologie Cimiez, Palais Lascaris) and the national Marc Chagall museum all extend free entry to one companion in addition. The Beaux-Arts confirms free entry for the cardholder but does not publish a companion policy; ask at the front desk.
Tips for visitors from outside France
If you do not hold the French Carte Mobilité Inclusion, bring whatever disability documentation you do hold. City museums tend to be flexible at the door; the national Chagall museum is stricter about the French card. There is no published reciprocal policy that you can quote, so do not assume your home card unlocks the free entry.
