Disability discounts in Grenoble

Bring a document that proves your disability status to the ticket desk. Accepted documents typically include the French Carte Mobilité Inclusion mention Invalidité (CMI-I), the older Carte d'Invalidité, and attestations for the AAH or AEEH benefits. Foreign visitors should bring the equivalent national disability card together with a photo ID and ask at each desk; venues apply the policy on a case-by-case basis for visitors from other countries.

At the three Isère department museums (Dauphinois, Saint-Laurent and Ancien Évêché) admission is already free for everyone, so the documentation step matters mainly for the audio-guide loan. At the Bastille cable car, the same justificatif is asked at the ticket window for both the disabled visitor and the companion.

Two practical notes the table cannot carry. The Musée de l'Ancien Évêché remains free but its dedicated PMR lift is currently out of service, so wheelchair access to the upper floors is limited until the replacement programme finishes; ground floor and the baptistery beneath the cathedral square stay accessible. The Magasin reduced rate of 3€ applies to under-26s, students, RSA recipients and similar categories who do not qualify for the free disabled rate.
