How to book

Phone or email a named van firm. hallermobil answers +43/1/869 62 62 from 06:00 to 23:30 every day (Mo-So). WLV takes private-trip bookings on +43 (1) 815 60 70 or [email protected]. ÖHTB takes orders Monday to Saturday 07:00 to 19:00 on +43 1 768 50 80, or [email protected].

Taxi Glück is the licensed taxi option with a ramp. Call +43-2243-36 111, or email [email protected]. They ask for 24 hours to guarantee the Komfort-Taxi, and they also run trips from or to Vienna from Klosterneuburg.

The City of Vienna publishes a weekday taxi Grundbetrag of 3,80 Euro from 6 to 23. A trip booked by phone or internet adds a 2 Euro Zuschlag. Taxi Glück says the Komfort-Taxi uses the same conditions as a normal Vienna taxi.

Taxi 40100 publishes special requests for limousines, pets, senior taxis, and bicycles. It does not publish a wheelchair-van category. Treat radio dispatch as a sedan unless the dispatcher confirms a ramp vehicle on that call.

hallermobil

hallermobil is a Vienna Fahrtendienst that has run barrier-free trips since 1986. Their own site says wheelchair and walking-aid transfers are a speciality. Call +43/1/869 62 62, or email [email protected]. They do not publish a meter fare; ask for a quote when you book.

The same firm lists a barrier-free airport trip under Reisen and Shuttles. Use that product for VIE, not a walk-up sedan at the rank. Ask for the vehicle type (ramp or lift) and your chair size when you book. hallermobil also publishes FSW Freizeitfahrten for holders of a Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW) Karte; that product is not the visitor booking path.

WLV Verkehrsdienste and ÖHTB

Wiener Lokalbahnen Verkehrsdienste publishes 160 Kleinbusse and a booking line for private trips. Call +43 (1) 815 60 70, or email [email protected]. Price is an own quote. Their contact page is for Fahrtendienst and Privat-Fahrt reservations.

ÖHTB Fahrtendienst is a WLV subsidiary with its own dispatch. Call +43 1 768 50 80; hours are Monday to Saturday 07:00 to 19:00, or email [email protected]. Sightseeing is a barrier-free bus for up to 8 people at a Richtpreis of €65.- per hour. Point-to-point trips need a quote.

Airport transfer

Vienna Airport's official taxi page lists Airport Driver on +43-1-22822, plus ATS, Flughafentaxi ttc, and 40100 at the rank in front of arrivals. That list is for licensed cabs, not a wheelchair-van category. The airport tells passengers to use only that rank or the City Transfer counters, and to ignore people who approach inside the hall. Pre-book hallermobil, WLV, ÖHTB, or Taxi Glück if you need to stay in your chair.

Airport PRM help inside the terminal is a separate airline booking. It does not send a ramp taxi to your hotel.

Residents only

Fonds Soziales Wien leisure trips (FSW Karte) and the City of Vienna Freizeitfahrt at a normal ticket price are for residents who cannot use public transport. Visitors are not eligible. Book hallermobil, WLV, ÖHTB, or Taxi Glück as a private trip instead.
